なぜ?ヨガと茶の湯
2023年 12月 28日CHAREN is an uniquely combined class of Mindfulness Yoga and Japanese Tea Ceremony.
We provide you the original retreat to take a moment out of your busy schedule and quieten your mind and soul. This unique collaborative lesson will take place at the locations of oasis in the city-center of Tokyo, where many people live exciting but hectic life.
We are now living in a higher-connected society. The technology brought us an amazing chances to reach people, places and information which we never could imagine before. Life is more exciting than that without digital devises. But at the same time, we have to realize we are lacking chances to open our five senses and feel the world surrounding us. Sound of simmering water, aroma of green tea, and warmhearted communication without texts – these are something essential for our life. A tea house is designed to be an extraordinary space for tea ceremony to fulfill this aim, which originates back in the medieval Japan.
We found that yoga and Japanese tea ceremony share a common philosophy of meditation, which helps us to balance our body, mind and soul. Chanoyu, or Japanese tea ceremony, is a function which you can experience mindfulness. Our yoga session is programmed as a prologue to the tea ceremony. By activating your five senses and being present in Zen style tearoom, you may feel yourself being a part of whole nature and enlarged universe – and the preciousness of being yourself. Please join us to experience this relaxing moment and the essences of Japanese traditional hospitality. Beginners are all welcomed.
